Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
You get the first feel of India with the traditional Indian welcome bestowed upon you at the hotel check-in, comprising of Garland, Tilak and Aarti. You may utilize the rest of the day to explore the city or indulge in a soothing massage at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi -Jaipur
Delhi offers a plethora of options to their visitor that belonging to different periods in History each exhibits its own charm and unique architectural skills. Our full day sightseeing involves Qutab Minar (India’s tallest single minaret), Humayun’s tomb (World Heritage Site), India Gate (Memorial to martyrs), Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Evening proceed on a luxurious drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check-in at a hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Jaipur
Jaipur is one of the most culturally rich cities of India and being ruled by several dynasties during its glorious past-the city has royalty embedded all over it. We shall be visiting the famous Amber Fort, which is the most frequented destination in Jaipur. Apart from its exquisite architecture, it is famous for the elephant ride that visitors take to reach to forts entrance.
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace and Jantar Mantar (ancient astronomical observatory) shall be our next destinations as you marvel at the artistic abilities of bygone era. Dinner & overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur-Ranthambore (157 km-3 hrs.)
Morning after breakfast drive to Ranthambore regarded as one of India’s premium wildlife reserve and upon arrival check-in at a luxury resort. The reserve boast of an eventful history leading to its birth and now houses an incredible variety of flora & fauna. Set out for an adventurous Tiger tracking safari into the reserve. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 05: Ranthambore
Early morning game drives (elephant/jeep/canter) into the reserve accompanied by an expert naturalist to observe the wildlife from close quarters. Elephant safari is regarded the most suitable as the ‘Mahout’ are expert at spotting wild animals including the Tiger. Return drive to resort and breakfast follows. Later in the day, take advantage of the reserves rough topography comprising of several hills etc. that are suitable for trekking.
Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 06: Ranthambore-Bharatpur (150 km-3hrs.)
Morning Tiger tracking safari into the reserve followed by drive to Bharaptur Bird sanctuary regarded as one of the finest in Asia. Upon arrival check-in at a resort. Also known as Keoladeo National Park, the reserve is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Post lunch, proceed for a bird watching tour in the reserve. Dinner & overnight stay at Bharatpur.
Day 07: Bharatpur-Agra (60 km-2 hrs.)
Morning enjoy a Cycle rickshaw ride into the reserve known for housing a large variety of exotic birds. Apart from its large population of resident birds, the reserve attracts several migratory birds from faraway places including China and Siberia. Later in the day, a sightseeing of Government Museum displaying exquisite collection of ancient artifacts and massive 18th century Lohagarh Fort follows.
Evening drive to the most famous part of Golden Triangle tour-Agra and upon arrival check-in at a luxury hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Agra-Jhansi-Orchha
After a leisurely breakfast, our expert guide shall take you on the much awaited visit to Taj Mahal. Now a pride of India, Taj Mahal has seen its popularity multiply owing to the legends behind its birth. Whereas most monuments were built for symbolizing victory, as royal residence or to aid in military advancement, Taj Mahal was built to serve as a symbol of love. Needless to mention the exquisite beauty of this marble clad structure also plays its part.
Other monuments worth visiting include Agra Red Fort which is almost a replica of Delhi Red Fort and Jama Masjid-regarded as the biggest mosque in Asia. Evening transfer to railway station for train to Jhansi where our representatives shall be waiting to receive and drive you to Orchha hotel. Overnight stay at Orchha.
Day 09: Orchha-Khajuraho
Mornings sightseeing of ancient Orchha temples which are in remarkably preserved state. A tour around the complex gives interesting insight into the architectural skills and acumen of the bygone age. Post lunch drive to Khajuraho and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the day, proceed for sightseeing of Khajuraho group of temples artistically depicting erotic and sensual sculptures. Explore the Eastern, Western and Southern group of temples. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 10: Khajuraho-Varanasi
Morning drive to the airport for flight to Varanasi and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. One of the oldest living cities in the world, Varanasi was graced during by Lord Buddha as well as Jain Tirthankara, making it a cradle of religious fervor for people following various faiths. Hinduism is the prominent one here, and in a way its very soul, and countless Hindu beliefs, mythologies, legends and rituals relates to the land-a seemingly endless in number. Our sightseeing shall include Bharat Mata Temple, Vishwanath Temple, Durga Temple, Assi Ghat, Dashaswamedh Ghat and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Overnight stay at Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi-Mumbai
Morning set out for a boat ride upon the holy river Ganges which covers several famous ghats of Varanasi. This is followed by transfer to the airport for flight to Mumbai and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Also known as the city of Dreams, Mumbai offers several sightseeing options including the Gateway of India, National Museum, Chowpatty beach, Haji Ali mosque and Sidhi Vinayak Temple. Overnight stay at Mumbai Hotel.
Day 12: Departure
Moring proceed for a short excursion trip to Elephanta caves housing stone carvings dedicated to Lord Shiva. These monuments are believed to belong from the Gupta period and exhibit a unique architectural style. Later, drive back to the hotel followed by transfer to the airport for flight to your onward/return journey.
