Day 01: Arrive at Delhi

You get the first feel of India with the traditional Indian welcome bestowed upon you at the hotel check-in, comprising of Garland, Tilak and Aarti. You may utilize the rest of the day to explore the city or indulge in a soothing massage at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi -Jaipur

Delhi offers a plethora of options to their visitor that belonging to different periods in History each exhibits its own charm and unique architectural skills. Our full day sightseeing involves Qutab Minar (India’s tallest single minaret), Humayun’s tomb (World Heritage Site), India Gate (Memorial to martyrs), Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Evening proceed on a luxurious drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check-in at a hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Jaipur

Jaipur is one of the most culturally rich cities of India and beHawa Mahal Jaipur, Buddhist Travel Indiaing ruled by several dynasties during its glorious past-the city has royalty embedded all over it. We shall be visiting the famous Amber Fort, which is the most frequented destination in Jaipur. Apart from its exquisite architecture, it is famous for the elephant ride that visitors take to reach to forts entrance.

In the evening set out for a short excursion trip to Chowki Dhani. A resort desingned along the traditional lines to reflect the essence of Rajasthan, treat yourself with the best of amusement acitivites like Puppet shows, traditional song & dance or get Mehandi(organic tattoo) applied to your palms. Dinner & overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur

Full day sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace and Jantar Mantar (ancient astronomical observatory). Shop for ethnic goods from its busy and colorful markets before returning to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 05: Jaipur- AgraTaj Mahal Agra, India Buddhist Trave

Agra is the next destination in the itinerary. En-route visits Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of the Mughal Dynasty that was abandoned due to lack of potable water. Still in remarkably preserved condition, monuments worth watching at Fatehpur includes Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jami Masjid and Jodha Bai's Palace. Arrival at Agra follows check-in into hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Agra – Varanasi

Morning set out to explore the monument which is arguably India’s most famous one in the world over- the Taj Mahal. This is followed by visits to Red Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula constituting other famous tourist attractions in the city. Later in the evening check out of the hotel and transfer to railway station for overnight train to Varanasi with dinner on-board.

Day 07: Varanasi

Varanasi Ghat, Buddhist Trip to India

Arrival at Varanasi railway station in the morning followed by transfer to the hotel. One of the oldest cities of the world, and an important pilgrimage destination for the Hindus and Buddhist, this sacred town is famous for its riverfront, temples and shrines. Vishwanath Temple, Assi Ghat and Dashaswamedh Ghat are some of the attractions that we shall be visiting followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Varanasi - Bodhgaya

Morning take a boat ride on River Ganges watching the daily rituals and activities being carried out on the riverfronts, a tradition that is being followed since ages. Post lunch, drive to Bodhgaya visiting Sarnath on the way. Sarnath is the sacred site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Arrival at Bodhgaya follows check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09: Bodhgaya

Half day sightseeing of Bodhgaya followed by excursion to Rajgir and Nalanda, the two ancient towns deeply related with Buddhism.

Rajgir: Rajgir is famous as the place where Lord Buddha spent a considerable part of his life and also for being the stage for the very first Buddhist council held after Buddha attained Nirvana.

Nalanda: The Nalanda University Nalanda founded in the 5th century as a great center of Buddhist learning and developed as a center of intellectualism. Overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

Day 10: Bodhgaya - Vaishali - Kushinagar

Today’s visit comprises Vaishali, the site that witnessed the last sermon and announcement of the impending Nirnana by Lord Buddha. The town is dotted with historical ruins and monuments including Ashoka Pillar, Lotus tank and Chaumukhi. The quaint little town of Kushinagar is our next destination and upon arrival we check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: Kushinagar - Lumbini

Visit the famous Mahanirvana Temple followed by visits to several Japanese and Srilankan Buddhist center & monasteries. This if followed by visit the birth place of Lord Buddha, Lumbini. Overnight stay at hotel in Lumbini.

Day 12: Lumbini - Kapilvastu - Sravasti

Visit the ancient Ashoka pillar built in 249 BC, the Mayadevi temple as well as ruins of an old monastery and some Stupas. Post lunch drive towards Sravasti housing several historical ruins related with Buddhist era as well as the famous Jetavana Monastery. On arrival at Sravasti, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 13: Sravasti - Lucknow

Half day sightseeing of Sravasti followed by drive to Lucknow and upon arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14: Lucknow

Lucknow is a town known for keeping alive the old charm and typically Indian fell through its culture, historical monuments and the overall traditions prevalent in the society. City tour of Lucknow includes Imambara, Rumi Darwaza and other historical monuments. Evening transfer to the Airport for flight to Delhi and upon arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 15: Departure Delhi

Morning transfer to International Airport and board flight to your onward/return journey.
