Destinations: Delhi-Jaipur-Agra-Umaria-Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho-Varanasi

Day 01: Delhi

Arrival at Delhi Airport where you shall be cordially received by our representatives and after a traditional Indian Welcome, check-in at a luxury hotel. In the evening, proceed for sightseeing of Old Delhi-still preserving the bygone royal age charm within its historical monuments. Our visits shall cover Red Fort (Red sandstone monument), Jama Masjid (Sacred Mosque) and Chandni Chowk (traditional markets, narrow alleys, Haveli).

Dinner & overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi-Jaipur (260 km-5 hrs)

Morning drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check-in at a royal Haveli. One of the most culturally rich cities of India. Several dynasties including the Rajput clan ruled here and left their indelible mark in the form of monuments & forts that comprise our chief visits. In the evening, a short excursion trip to Chowki Dhani- a traditional Rajasthani resort designed to bring the old culture alive. Entertain yourself with various cultural programs like Puppet shows, song & dance program etc.

Overnight stay at Jaipur Hotel.

Day 03: Jaipur-Agra (232 km-430 hrs)

Full day sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory) and Amber Fort (most frequented monument in the city). At Amber fort, you shall take a joyful ride upon the majestically dressed elephant to reach to fort’s entrance located atop a hill. In the evening, indulge in shopping for some traditional handicrafts in Jaipur’s local market. Later on, we proceed towards the most famous part of Golden Triangle tour-Agra with a drive lasting aprox. 430 hrs. and upon arrival check-in at a luxury hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: Agra

After a leisurely breakfast, our best guides shall take you on sightseeing of Taj Mahal-the eternal symbol of love. Located on the banks of River Yamuna, the monument continues to draw thousands of visitors from around the globe, who come here to experience this one of 7 wonders of the world. Some other monuments located in Taj’s vicinity are also worth visiting. Later, proceed towards Jama Masjid-the largest Mosque in Asia and the Agra Red Fort.

Dinner & overnight stay at Agra hotel.

Day 05: Agra-Umaria-Bandhavgarh

Morning transfer to Agra railway station for train to Umaria. Our representative shall receive you at Umaria railhead and a short drive to Bandhavgarh follows. Upon arrival, check-in at a luxury wildlife resort. Rest of the day free to relax and unwind-you may also explore the adjoining villages and observe their basic lifestyle. Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh resort.

Day 06: Bandhavgarh

Bandhavgarh is one of India’s most famous and highly frequented Tiger reserve with a rich variety of flora & fauna. Our program shall include morning and evening safari (elephant/jeep/canter) into the reserve. An expert naturalist shall accompany you as you get to observe wildlife from close quarters.

Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh resort.

Day 07: Bandhavgarh

Morning & evening Tiger tracking safari into the reserve. We shall also be visiting the ancient Bandhavgarh caves with around 2000 years old inscriptions found on its walls. Overnight at Bandhavgarh resort.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh

Morning & evening Tiger game drive into the reserve. Today we shall be visiting the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort-which at 2500 years is believed to be the oldest in India. The hour-long trek to reach to the fort is also worth the effort as it provides picturesque views of nature. The three 12th-century temples are also worth a visit.

Day 09: Bandhavgarh-Khajuraho (280 km-5 hrs.)

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho-the land of erotic temples and upon arrival check-in at a hotel. Post lunch visit to Khajuraho group of Temples follows which are known for the artistic depiction of erotic sculptures. Overnight stay at Khahuraho.

Day 10: Khajuraho-Varanasi

Morning drive to Khajuraho Airport for flight to Varanasi and upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Varanasi is regarded as a spiritual city with its legends & folklore imbedded deep in its culture. It is believed that people who visit Varanasi obtain ‘divine salvation’. In the evening, witness or take part in the ‘Aarti ceremony’ conducted on the riverfront.

Day 11: Varanasi

After breakfast proceed for a boat ride upon Holy River Ganges. A sightseeing of numerous famous temples, tourist attractions etc. follows including Gyanvapi mosque and Banaras Hindu University. Dinner & overnight stay at Varanasi.
