Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
As part of your Holy Ganga Tour, arrive at Delhi airport and meet with our representatives who shall assist & transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Delhi, the capital of India is known for the remarkable variety on display in terms of its old age monuments and new age marvels. One of India’s most developed cities, tourist are offered several attractions and sightseeing opportunities within its boundaries. Red fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Purana Qila, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Parliament House, the Qutub Minar are some such places that we shall be covering. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
The spiritual part of our journey starts with the train to Haridwar. After reaching Haridwar, our representatives shall drive you to Rishikesh for check-in at a hotel. A land blessed with scenic natural beauty, Rishikesh has grown in popularity in recent times due to its Ayurveda, meditation and Yoga centers. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 04: Rishikesh
Full day free to explore Rishikesh, as we visit the Ashrams, Ganga Ghats and temples. The nature trek amidst the serene surroundings of Himalayas is also popular. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 05: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Varanasi
Morning drive to Haridwar, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrim centers in India. The Ganga Ghats, temples, Ashrams and several other spiritual centers have resulted in maintaining the popularity of the town for several decades now. A part of several Hindu mythological incidences, Haridwar is a place to cherish for a long time. In the evening you will be transferred to railway station to board the train to Varanasi. Overnight on-board.
Day 06: Varanasi
Arrival at Varanasi railhead by afternoon followed by transfer to a hotel for check-in. The most important Hindu pilgrimage destination, Varnasi has spiritualty, religious fervor and holiness imbedded in all of its aspects. Evening proceed for a boat ride upon the life giving waters of Ganges. As the boat slowly meanders through the quite surroundings, one can’t help but feel the essence and the mysticism that is in the air at Varanasi-one of world’s oldest cities.
Day 07: Varanasi
Full day spent on sightseeing of the heritage city visiting its famous sites and destinations like Vishwanath temple, the Bharat Mata temple, BHU, Assi Ghat etc. Varanasi was once almost completely destroyed by the invading mughals under the rule of Aurangzeb, however the city rebuilt itself and stands today as a symbolizing Hinduism. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 08: Varanasi
Morning after breakfast excursion to Sarnath, famous as the site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples after achieving enlightenment. Several ruins from the bygone age including Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum are more than worth a visit. Rest of the day free for leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 09: Varanasi - Allahabad
Today we leave the spiritual realms of Varanasi and drive towards Prayag or Allahabad, another heritage city of India. Famous for the convergence point of three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati- Sangam, Allahabad is now an important pilgrimage center of the Hindus. The town is also one of the places known for housing the famous "Kumbh Mela". Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 10: Allahabad
Full day sightseeing of Allahabad visiting Sangam, Allahabad fort, the Ashoka pillar, temples and Ghats. Evening time free for leisure activities followed by transfer to Allahabad railhead for boarding train back to Delhi. Overnight on-board. .
Day 11: Delhi
Morning arrival at Delhi railway station and drive to hotel for check-in. Day time free for leisure activities followed by transfer to the airport for your onward/return journey.
